Ces 2 VCL sont sympathiques mais ne révolutionnent en rien l'écoute des albums qui sont bien suffisants. Le Zimmer n'est pas désagréable mais franchement pas inoubliable dans sa filmo. Quant au Debney, c'est fun mais comme souvent avec Debney on peine à y trouver une patte reconnaissable malgré toutes les qualités musicales dont il est capable. J'ai vraiment l'impression que Varese sort des VCL histoire de mais franchement l'intérêt est limité...

This score is absolute chaos (but fun chaos).
It was written 3 times (version 3 being a hybrid of 1 (that was almost completely lost) and 2. And there's just about 40 minutes used in the film (and some cues being repeated like 3 or 4 times in that total !).
So, presenting it as a complete & chronological like we usually do didn't make much sense.
Instead it's all about creating a coherent album with all that. Melissa Muik actually did a good job in 2003 compiling it, so starting from there was the best option, and then see all the unused/alternates or just used in film but unreleased cues and expand on it.
Yes there are a lot of alternates which are basically the same ideas repeated over & over, sometimes with one instrument changed or an edit. I wasn't going to include every second and have something completely unlistenable ! razz

Le fait est qu'il devient difficile de trouver des grands crus à améliorer, les vingt dernières années ont été riches, nous avons été gâtés. Du Zimmer ils peuvent en sortir autant qu'ils veulent, ce n'est pas ma came.
